I am coming to see that NetGalley is a dangerous place for me to be! While that is the source of 99% of the books I review here (although I’ve received 4 from BoStick Communications and I’m awaiting a shipment from Galaxy Press), it’s still dangerous. By that I mean – too many books I want to read/review!
Right now my reading list on NetGalley contains 53 books – and I’m fairly certain there are some requests that still need to be answered by the publishers. Yes, I’ve had a few declined requests (my feedback rating is 40% and NetGalley says it should be at 80%), but overall I’ve gotten some pretty good approvals. One of them is a Fear Street novel by R.L. Stine. I can’t wait to read that one – I’ve been a Fear Street junkie for years! Another is the 4th book in the Weaver series, Phoenix. I’ve already read/reviewed Chimera and I’m currently reading Changeling with Vector to follow immediately after. Phoenix will have to wait a bit though – I’ve got books set to be archived in a week, so I need to get those books read and reviewed ASAP.
I’ve set up a spreadsheet that tells me where I got a book and when I need to have the review done by… although with NetGalley, I’ve noticed that I can still post the feedback even if the book is archived.
So what reviews can you expect to see next? Well, the next 5 will be:
I’m almost finished with Changeling, so I expect that review to be up tomorrow sometime. Vector should be posted this weekend, since I should have time to read.
Are there any books you’d like to see me read & review? If so, let me know in the comments!
